Mercedes Rear View Mirror Reattachment Fail From Previous Auto Glass Shop

This is just a note to self…and everyone else out there. When you have a hard time pulling the plastic case housing from a Mercedes rear view mirror and you see the image below, you might want to choose a different shop next time, Yes, what you see holding together this plastic was both windshield glue and double-sided sticky tape. FYI. If you find a trustworthy shop, stick with them!
